Payment Policies

Course seats are reserved when a registration is submitted and full payment is received by the Program Coordinator. CAGT offers three methods to reserve your place. Cash or cheques are only accepted for late registrations up to14 days prior to the course date.

Payment By eTransfer (Preferred method)

Submit a registration form containing the e-Transfer password to the Programming Coordinator. Passwords of one lower case word please. (e.g. alphabet). Wait for the Programming Coordinator to contact you before making an e-Transfer payment, you must have registered for online banking with your bank.

Send e-Transfers directly to register@calligraphicartstoronto.ca. Banks hold the funds for thirty days and the Treasurer will contact the registrant of any concerns.

Payment by Cheque

Payable to the ‘Calligraphic Arts Guild of Toronto’ (no abbreviations) and not post-dated! A $30 fee will be applied to NSF cheques.

Cheques can be hand-delivered to the Programming Coordinator, Starlee Lively Odorico in person, at meetings, or mail to Unit 1207-1910, Lakeshore Boulevard W, Toronto; M6S 1A2 in reflection of the course registration deadline.

Payment by Cash

While cash may be accepted in person, we ask that you please consider using one of the other two payment options instead. Be mindful of registration deadlines.

Cash is required to pay any material fees at the course. The amount goes straight to the instructor, not to CAGT.

Course Receipts

The registrant will get notification from the bank when an e-Transfer is deposited. Course receipts are emailed to the registrant by the first date of the course.

Refunds

Once payment is provided and the course is confirmed, fees are non-refundable unless; the course is cancelled by the Guild, at the discretion of the Guild Executive or alternatively if the spot could be filled from a waiting list. The registrant can also opt to find a substitute.
